Meet Joe Behrend
Not only is Joe Behrend the owner and manager of Discount Fitness Equipment, he is also a personal fitness trainer at One on One Fitness and an experienced former play-by-play sports broadcaster. He was the voice of the UNM women’s basketball team for Learfield Sports on Sports Radio 610 for many years. In addition to his play-by-play work for the Lady Lobos — Joe also had a role in numerous other UNM sporting events including men’s basketball, football, and baseball games. He has been named New Mexico Play by Play Broadcaster of the year seven times by the New Mexico Broadcasters Association.
